Description

Prosept Fortis – a powerful concentrate for disinfecting and cleaning medical tools, manicure and pedicure instruments. The liquid contains a unique combination of active ingredients based on alkylamines and quaternary ammonium compounds, thanks to which it has bactericidal, mycobactericidal, yeasticidal, and virucidal properties.
It ensures the effective removal of blood and other protein-rich fluids, even with high levels of contamination.

Application:
1. Use household gloves and protective goggles.
2. Prepare the disinfecting solution in a disinfection tray. Prepare 1 liter of working solution (3%) from 30 ml of concentrate.
3. Enter the following details in the disinfection tray: product used, concentration, preparation date, signature.▪ Close the container with the lid and keep it closed until next use.
4. Immediately after use, place the instruments in the drainer. Disassemble the instruments and open all joints. Prevent dirt from drying on. Using forceps when disinfecting instruments reduces the risk of injury and infection.
5. Place the drainer in the disinfection tray. When the drainer is submerged, check for air bubbles.
6. Wait the required contact time.
▪ Remove the drainer from the disinfection tray. Rinse the instruments thoroughly with water.
7. Dry the instruments with a disposable cloth.
8. Check that the instruments are not visibly contaminated.
9. If necessary, clean the instruments by hand and repeat steps 5–10. To remove stubborn stains or heavy contamination, use ultrasonic bath cleaning with PROSEPT Instru or Sonic.
10. Check the functionality and visible damage of the instruments.
11. Lubricate if necessary.
12. Place the instruments in an autoclave and sterilize.
13. Mark the sterilization date, expiry date, batch number, and contents.
14. After sterilization, check that the packaging is intact. If damaged, repeat the sterilization process.
15. Protect from dust, aerosols, and moisture during storage.
